BILL WINN: Now - September 10, 2017
As an artist, I focus on saving and recording special moments in time - first light on the beach, mottled light on palmetto scrub, a back alley in town, drenching rain in the city. A moment in time forever captured for those too busy to stop, look, and appreciate. These moments are my inspiration.
I don't look at the world as a whole, but as special pieces of the puzzle that entice, inspire, and give beauty to each day that we enjoy. Thank you for enjoying "the earth as I see it."

SHARON THOMAS: Now - August 29, 2017
Although my education at Carnegie Institute of Technology and the Institute of Pittsburgh was in Fine and Commercial Art, I never had a career in this field.
Upon retiring I discovered silk painting and the Silk Painters International Organization (SPIN) where I had the opportunity to study with accomplished and published silk artists. I am enthralled with the vibrant colors and possibilities silk artwork provides. Since I love to sew, it was natural to combine both passions and produce art quilts.
My artwork has been viewed in local and national shows.
I have won "Best of Show" ribbons. My work has been published
in three magazines, chosen for a SPIN Conference brochure and featured in a national magazine calendar contest. My artwork was one of seventeen paintings chosen to hang in the annual Orchid Show at the Smithsonian Institute.

GARY MULLANE: Now - September 29, 2017
Gary Mullane proclaims "I have been taking pictures of trees for over forty years. Now, I take photographs of trees." Mullane has a degree in Arboriculture and Park Management from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts.
Mullane has owned several tree companies in Westchester County, New York and here in Hilton Head. In 1992, Mullane became a tree consultant and is currently consulting for Sea Pines and Harbour Town Golf Course. Mullane has been awarded National Excellence in Arboriculture for preserving the trees at Marriott's Grande Ocean Resort and the Disney property in Shelter Cove.
Mullane's education and training is in caring for trees. Mullane states, "I look at a tree differently. I understand how a tree works; how a huge oak limb can defy gravity and stretch out eighty feet without falling; how a leaf can take sunlight and change it into nutrients; why leaves turn color and drop in the fall and how leaves clean the air we breathe."
